|
|
|
I have a Rhino R4FXO hooked up to a single
analog line for testing and have questions
regarding dial tone and outgoing phone calls.
It seems that when I plugin an analog line
into port 1 on the card the outgoing call works,
but when the cable is only hooked up to port 2+
the outgoing call doesn't get out.
Is this a dial tone detection problem?
Is it supposed to detect it without a cable?
Thank you,
Martin |

Do you have only one channel specified in zapada and zaptel?
zaptel.conf should look something like:
fxsks=1-4
zapata.conf should be something like:
context=from-pstn
signalling=fxs_sk
channel => 1-4 _________________ -AH |

Well after our main phone pbx died,
I plugged in the test system and with all
4 lines hooked up it's now going through all.
I guess the detection doesn't work when the
cable is not hooked up to a port and won't skip.
Thanks,
Martin |
